BACK TO SCHOOL Supply Drive

Okay, I've said it. School will start in a few weeks. I know we're all trying to get in those precious memories in or traveling to visit family and places. If you're like me, you could even be purging tons of too small clothes or taking care of projects you've wanted to do for a while. If you come across unneeded, new school supplies or catch some really great sales, consider donating some supplies or a lunch box to Hope for Youth. Hope for Youth has a wonderful, caring staff dedicated to serving the neglected, abused, and vulnerable youth right in our community.

Donations of Backpacks, school supplies, and lunch boxes can be dropped off from July 1st through September 2nd at Hope for Youth, located at 201 Dixon Avenue, Amityville, NY 11701. Contact Kate Travers at 631/782-6540 if you have any questions.

Supply Suggestions: pencils, crayons, colored pencils, smocks, glue sticks, sharpie markers, 3 subject notebooks, markers (thick and thin), solid color folders, scissors, dividers, 2 inch binders, loose leaf paper, calculators, sketch books, pens, flash drives, index cards, staples and staplers. The kids can also use string back packs for gym clothes and new sneakers.

* Hope for Youth is a nonprofit, tax exempt and publicly supported 501 C 3 organization. All donations are tax deductible, too.
